Welcome to Optimus Robotics Academy. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our educational programs, services, website, and related offerings. By enrolling in our programs or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, enrolling in our courses, or participating in any of our educational programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Educational Services

2.1 Program Offerings

Optimus Robotics Academy provides comprehensive robotics education through various programs including but not limited to:

  • Robotics Fundamentals Training courses covering basic robot architecture, sensors, controllers, and programming
  • AI and Robotics Learning Programs focused on computer vision, autonomous systems, and machine learning applications
  • Arduino and Microcontroller Workshops offering hands-on experience with embedded systems
  • STEM Robotics Courses designed specifically for students to develop engineering and technical skills
  • Industrial Automation Training for professionals seeking expertise in PLC systems and manufacturing robotics
  • Robot Programming Bootcamps teaching Python, C/C++, ROS, and advanced programming techniques
  • Corporate Robotics Education programs customized for business teams and organizations

2.2 Course Content and Delivery

All course content, materials, schedules, and delivery methods are subject to change at the discretion of Optimus Robotics Academy. We reserve the right to modify curriculum, update materials, change instructors, or adjust program formats to maintain educational quality and relevance. Students will be notified of significant changes whenever possible.

2.3 Enrollment Requirements

Certain programs may have prerequisite knowledge, age requirements, or other enrollment criteria. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure they meet all requirements before enrolling. Misrepresentation of qualifications may result in immediate dismissal without refund.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Pricing and Fees

Program fees are listed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your enrollment is the price in effect at the time of registration. All fees are stated in United States Dollars unless otherwise specified. Additional costs for materials, equipment, or certification exams may apply and will be clearly communicated during enrollment.

3.2 Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and approved third-party payment processors. Payment in full is typically required at the time of enrollment unless alternative payment arrangements have been pre-approved in writing.

3.3 Late Payments

If payment arrangements have been made and payments are not received by the due date, access to course materials and participation in classes may be suspended until payment is brought current. Late fees may apply as specified in your enrollment agreement.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Ownership of Materials

All course materials, including but not limited to videos, presentations, handouts, code samples, project templates, written content, images, and software provided by Optimus Robotics Academy are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These materials are owned by or licensed to Optimus Robotics Academy and are provided solely for educational purposes.

4.2 Permitted Use

Students are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use course materials solely for personal educational purposes during their enrollment period. Students may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or commercially exploit any course materials without explicit written permission.

4.3 Student Projects

Students retain ownership of original projects and creations developed during courses. However, by participating in our programs, students grant Optimus Robotics Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs, videos, or descriptions of student projects for promotional and educational purposes, unless students explicitly opt out in writing.

5. Code of Conduct

5.1 Expected Behavior

All students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. This includes treating instructors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy, participating actively in learning activities, and maintaining academic integrity. Harassment, discrimination, cheating, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

5.2 Consequences of Violations

Violations of our code of conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent dismissal from programs without refund. In severe cases, we reserve the right to take legal action and report violations to appropriate authorities.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Safety and Equipment Use

7.1 Workshop Safety

Students participating in hands-on workshops and laboratory sessions must adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by instructors. This includes wearing appropriate protective equipment, following proper procedures when using tools and equipment, and immediately reporting any safety concerns or incidents.

7.2 Equipment Responsibility

Students are responsible for the proper use and care of equipment and materials provided during courses. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of safety protocols may result in charges for repair or replacement. Students must return all borrowed equipment in good condition.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Educational Outcomes

While we strive to provide high-quality education, Optimus Robotics Academy makes no guarantees regarding specific learning outcomes, job placement, career advancement, or certification success. Student results depend on individual effort, prior knowledge, dedication, and external factors beyond our control.

8.2 Technical Issues

We make reasonable efforts to ensure our website, online platforms, and technical infrastructure function properly. However, we are not liable for temporary interruptions, technical difficulties, or issues arising from students' internet connectivity, hardware, or software compatibility.

8.3 Third-Party Content

Our courses may reference or link to third-party resources, tools, or websites for educational purposes. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for third-party content, and students access such resources at their own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Optimus Robotics Academy, its owners, instructors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific program giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Optimus Robotics Academy and its officers, directors, employees, instructors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms of Service, your use of our services, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically. 12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use our services immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms of Service that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Kentucky. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any program-specific enrollment agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Optimus Robotics Academy regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
